Axim launched a new process related to Sustainable Development that links economic performance, client satisfaction and respect for the natural environment.

• This process includes an Environmental Management System that incorporates continuous improvement, regulatory compliance and risk management with the main goal of avoiding pollution wherever possible.
  All of the processes are validated by the ISO 14001 certification.
  For this purpose, Axim is committed to:
  implementing the organization and methods necessary to adhere to legal requirements and Italcementi Group sustainable development policy.
• informing, increasing awareness and training personnel on the procedure.
• encouraging and involving subcontractors and suppliers in the goal of planning and prevention. 
• communicating in a transparent manner, both internally and externally.
  With this in mind, the priority actions to be taken are:
• appropriate management of water resources. 
• an automatic recycling policy meant to reduce waste, and strict control within the organisation of the storage of raw materials and finished products. 
• improved discipline in relation to energy conservation. 
• special attention to the environmental impact of chemicals (from product design to shipping).
