Product Innovation

Since its inception, Axim has endeavoured to work closely with various clients to improve processes and products, and also to diversify their product ranges.
Axim provides services to cement plants, through grinding agents and additives, ready-mix, and the manufacturing of mortars and stiff concrete, as well as special binders.
Wide-ranging demands, like changes in standards and modern guidelines, create the need for constant innovation, which leads Axim to create 5 or 6 new products each year.
A team of engineers and technicians works on creating and developing these products, and helps clients to use them. This work is carried out in close collaboration with the Group Technical Centre (CTG) based close to Axim’s head office.
For more than a year, Axim has also operated in partnership with SOCLI, with the aim of combining the two companies under a Speciality Activities division, dedicated to optimising skills. SOCLI is a specialist in manufacturing lime and derivatives, as well as mortar and stiff concrete.
At the service of Italcementi Group and its clients, Axim has developed new generations of grinding and crushing aids and has assisted in bringing highly technical products to market, including the TX Active and Effix Design ranges.
Axim's teams’ extensive range of skills and their proximity to the client facilitates permanent product compliance and the quick integration of developments in admixture chemistry.

Finally, priority has been given over the last few years to product ranges that are increasingly safe for human beings and the environment - evidence of added value for users of Axim’s innovative products.
