Accelerators reduce the set time and increase initial concrete strength development.

The new Axim Accelerators, Cimaccel 112 (Chlorinated Set Accelerator), Cimaccel Presto, and Cimaccel Primo (Non-chlorinated Hardening Accelerator) result in:
- a short-term increase in mechanical strength that helps increase the speed of removal from moulds or forms,
- In cold weather, a set accelerator helps provide better protection against possible effects of freezing on new concrete and helps maintain the coefficient for using forms.
