Axim's origin is linked to these products; it is through them that it started its business in 1988. At the time Italcementi group wanted to use its knowledge and skill in the chemistry of cement to develop its own grinding aid products and the additives used in cement. Axim then began to diversify the chemistry of its admixtures.
Since its inception, Axim has been #1 in manufacturing and distributing cement grinding aids.
Products can be divided into 2 groups: a range of grinding aids and a range of additives.
The grinding aids include 2 products:
- Cloter F 5903 (designed to improve clinker grinding and increase cement fluidity)
- And Cloter B (does the same for limestone).
Cloter can be added to the composition of materials in contact with water meant for human consumption.
The additives can include several products, depending on the end use of the binder:
- Addicim EPR reduces dust in road binders,
- Cimpore 5 and M fluidify and lighten masonry cement and lime,
- Réducim Snp (powder) or Snl (liquid) reduces Chromium IV present in the cement,
- Tricim comes into play when Percocem binders are used.
